8 and 9

These last couple of months 

have gone by in the blink of an eye 

All of the sudden I feel like I have 

this little kid now 

not so much a baby any more 

While it breaks my heart 

it has been so fun to see her learn 

and grow and interact 

She is now 28.5 inches long (85%)

and weighs 18.8 lbs (50%)

She is wearing 6-12 and 12-18

month clothing 

and has skis for feet 

She does lots of big girl things 

like.....

Sit in her chair all by herself ...

Not technically crawling but still moving around 

and super close to crawling 

just look at that power stance...

She is pulling herself up on everything, 

standing by herself really well and 

even took two steps all by herself! 

Hasn't done it since then but we're close 

When she walks or bounces or jumps 

she almost always does it on her toe knuckles 

You can kind of see it in this picture

 She is loving solid foods 

puffs and yogurt drops are some of her faves

I know drinking out of a straw 

isn't a huge accomplishment but 

good grief it's so dang cute 

mmmm I just wanna kiss those lips

She has gone from two teeth....

to three teeth ...

to four teeth...

 to six teeth

You can barely see the two 

on the other side here but 

they are definitely there 

She is going to take after her mom 

and have a nice, giant gap 

between her front teeth 

She loves the swing 

and watching all the kids at the park 

We tried "finger painting" 

with different colored baby food...

it was a success 

Her first Easter was a success 

This little girl is seriously the sweetest thing 

She is so happy, loving, funny and smart 

She loves her family

And we could not love her more 

She is the light of our lives
