Single Digits!

I have 7 weeks left in my pregnancy.... how the heck did that happen?! Being pregnant has been the craziest, hardest and most amazing experience. You hear so many people talk about it but honestly you have no idea what is coming until you experience it. It has truly been the slowest and fastest 7 months of my life.

I haven't done much to document my pregnancy and most days I feel like I'm not sure I want to remember most parts of it. Being pregnant is really hard! After talking to several people I have heard that one day I will want to look back and remember. Sooooo thus the blog post...

Quick recap....
We found out we were pregnant on Thanksgiving! We were both so excited and I just cried a lot haha. Bless Adam's heart for putting up with me through this whole thing. We told our families on Christmas - we knew it was a little early but we felt like Christmas was such a fun time to share our exciting news. I have a video telling my family and maybe one day I will figure out how to put a video on here. We shared the news with the rest of the world on my birthday when I hit 12 weeks. We went to Fetal Fotos at 15 weeks and found out we are having a GIRL, which was later confirmed at my 20 week appointment ( I was a little worried that it would be different at my doctors appointment) I have been very lucky with a pretty easy pregnancy - not much morning sickness - I think the 3rd trimester has been the hardest and where I have experienced the most symptoms.

My friend Alisha, who is also pregnant, posted this on her blog the other day so I stole it ....

How far along? 33 weeks

Total weight gain: to be completely honest I have no idea. I think after like my third doctors appointment I decided I really didn't want to know or think about it.

Maternity clothes? yes.... thank goodness for skirts and dresses because this heat is starting to really suck. (Yes...I know it's only June and has only hit like 85 degrees and as everyone kindly reminds me, I still have an even hotter July to go)

Stretch Marks? gaahhhh ugggghhhhhhhh yes dang it - on my hips and I'm kind of depressed about it. I'm convinced some people just get them no matter what because I have used every kind of lotion/oil and it just doesn't matter.

Sleep: sleep has been okay but recently getting worse.

Best moment this week: finished the ceiling on our nursery! The room had a really ugly almost popcorn-like ceiling that was painted cream - almost a light yellow that looked horrible with our white walls. Instead of trying to smooth out and paint the ceiling we decided to do wooden planks over it. I think it looks sooo good! I am so proud of it even though I didn't help at all - that would be all Adam and Chris. I will post pictures of it when we have finished the rest of the nursery.

Miss Anything? laying on my back - I swear it feels like the only comfortable position at night. I miss my non-maternity clothes. I miss air conditioning - this really has nothing to do with me being pregnant buuut it stopped working a couple weeks ago and since I am indeed pregnant I really wish it was working.

Movement: lots - sometimes it is a little painful but I really do like it and find it very reassuring.  She has been getting the hiccups every night and I think its cute :)

Food cravings: sushi and turkey sandwiches. dang it.

Anything making you queasy or sick: we get a lot of sweet older ladies that come into my work who really like their perfume... it doesn't really make me queasy but it does give me an instant headache.

Gender: a sweet baby Girl

Labor Signs: ummmmm I'm not sure? Maybe some contractions here and there.

Symptoms: heart burn, super tired and really really baaaaad sciatic pain. My word, there are times at work when I think I might be paralyzed and can't move for several seconds.

Belly Button in or out? in still but it looks on the verge of popping out

Exercise? being at work I usually count as my workout since I'm on my feet all day, walks with the dogs or taking them to the dog park

Wedding rings on or off? off... I wore it to work the other day and after I was showing someone how to use one of our strollers (which is a workout) I got so hot by the time I was done and my hands had gotten so swollen that I could barely take my ring off. Since then I have left it off - I kinda hate it because I feel like I am always missing something.

Happy or Moody most of the time: mostly happy but there have been some moody days - sorry Adam I love you!

Looking forward to: I have some showers coming up and that makes me pretty happy and excited!
