We blessed Indie Sunday, September 28, 2014.
We were planning on having people over after the blessing
and wanted to do it outside since our house is so small.
We had been making a list of our family we were going to invite and if
everyone came we were up to 91 people.
That's right, 91 people.
The whole week leading up to the blessing the weather was warm and sunny.
Then, of course, when I checked the weather I saw the temperature was going to
drop and it was supposed to be stormy all weekend.
You could say I was a little stressed.
Thankfully with the help of our wonderful families we somehow pulled it off.
Susan and my mom made sure we had enough food and that our house was clean,
Adam and his brother got a bunch of yard work done,
Chris and some of my family made sure we had chairs, tables and canopies.
The morning of the blessing it poured.
I was stressed.
You can imagine my excitement when we walked out of sacrament meeting and it was sunny!
Oh my word, what a relief.
Adam gave Indie the most beautiful blessing.
I'm so grateful for Adam and the example he is for our little family.
Even though I had been so worried it was such a special day.
Once everything was going I didn't even notice all the things I had been worried about.
All that mattered was my little family and my beautiful baby girl.
We are so grateful for all the love and support we have in our lives because of our great family and friends.
